Who we are
We decided to take action in this area, rather than give in to hopelessness. This takes the form of a job and business training model that is easily replicable and can be self-sustainable. The training is available to all, and emphasises practical and soft skills that are essential to thriving in the working and business world.
We are a registered non-profit organization registered in the USA(501c3) and South Africa(NPO), but we have W4AL Centers that operate in many countries around the world. Our dream is to see a center in every town and city in the world where there is poverty and need
What we do
In 2007, we started planting WORK 4 A LIVING training centers where the unemployed could come and be fully equipped to join the workforce or start a business. We saw that without networks, family help, or a knowledge of how to pursue a job or career, many people simply did not know how to progress and thrive.
But we don’t just believe in handing out jobs or funds to start businesses; we believe in true empowerment. To us, this means not only educating people with skills that are valuable, but equipping them with mindsets that empower them to own their circumstances, thrive in their daily work, and have hope for the future.
