Partnership is key

We have spent the last 13 years honing our program by speaking to hundreds of employers about what types of employees they value most in their business.

Most employers are looking for people who are excellent at what they do, loyal, hard-working, committed, honest, good communicators.

WORK 4 A LIVING is a counter cultural, proven solution for recruiting and retaining your workforce. We know and understand that character, attitude, and excellence eclipse skill every time.

Our recruitment centers give you access to the best WORK 4 A LIVING graduates – only individuals who successfully complete our rigorous twelve-day Job Readiness training and assessments are allowed to apply for the jobs you want us to fill. Many of our graduates have also completed our basic skills courses, such as cashier training, merchandising, office administration, computer skills, barista training and more. Hence you can have access to candidates who are ready to work from day 1.

“I must commend you on their training and in general, their conduct during the recruitment process. What impressed me immensely was the discipline of the trainees and the respect and attentiveness they afforded us during the recruitment process. Their conduct throughout the days was phenomenal and was key to the success of the recruitment process. You can be extremely proud of your achievements in this regard.”

“We were busy having a staff meeting discussing our SCOOP values. Unexpectedly I got a message from a customer that read, “I would like to commend a man that served us on Friday at Ballito Lifestyle Centre. They had already packed up to close the shop, but he was very friendly and kind and let us taste and served as a pro. I think his name is Prince or King. Look after him, Amanda. He reminds me of Siya Kholisi – a champion”.

What beautiful words to sum up our Prince, who joined us just over 2 years ago through WORK 4 A LIVING Ballito with no previous work experience but a winning personality, desperate to be given an opportunity. He lives and breathes our values and we are so grateful to have him on our team – we love you so much, Prince.”
