Our Global Network
Equipping People. Strengthening Communities.Transforming Nations.
WORK 4 A LIVING equips people to move from unemployment, poverty and dependency to lives of dignity, purpose and economic freedom through employment, entrepreneurship, financial literacy and discipleship.
Founded in South Africa in 2007, the ministry has grown into an international network, helping tens of thousands of people across multiple countries.
Our Story
WORK 4 A LIVING began in South Africa in 2007. As churches and community organizations in other countries adopted the model, the ministry expanded internationally.
In 2016, WORK 4 A LIVING Inc. was established in the United States as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, with the international head office relocating to the U.S. in 2022 to support a growing global network of Work Hubs.
Our Global Model
Rather than operating every local program ourselves, we train, launch and mentor independent W4AL Hubs around the world.
Each W4AL Hub is established and operated by its own independent legal entity—whether a church, nonprofit or community organization—which understands the needs of its local community.
This allows leadership to remain local while benefiting from shared curriculum, coaching, mentoring and quality standards.
The Role of WORK 4 A LIVING Inc.
The U.S. head office exists to strengthen the global network by providing:
● Curriculum and program development
● Training and mentoring
● Quality assurance
● Coaching and ongoing support
● Innovation and best practices
● International expansion
Independent WORK 4 A LIVING Hubs
Every W4AL Hub:
● Is an independent legal entity.
● Has its own governance, leadership and finances.
● Complies with the laws of its own country.
● Raises and manages its own funding.
● Delivers the WORK 4 A LIVING model within its local community.
